How we help at Manchester Home Care Associates
After
the initial enquiry a senior member of staff will visit the service user
so they can plan a support package together. Relatives, friends or other
family members are welcome to attend the meeting. The care package will
be agreed along with a start date. The supervisor will make an appointment
to visit the premises and carry out a risk assessment. They will install
a service user held record which would include the care action plan, service
user guide (statement of purpose etc) and the risk assessment. A complaints
procedure guide with contact numbers is also provided so that any problems,
however small, can be addressed immediately.
Manchester Home Care Associates use their experience to match the care worker to the service user, taking into account both sets of requirements. The care worker will then be introduced and the service starts.
A review of the care package and risk assessment will be carried out at regular intervals.
At the same time as the review there will be a monitoring visit. This is to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided and to ensure that any changes in circumstances are taken into account.
